Open Access Support Fund
What is the Open Access Support Fund? (OASF)
The Open Access Support Fund (OASF) supports collaborative projects and initiatives to promote the development and sustainable implementation of open access and open research practices.
The OASF was created in response to direct requests for financial support from researchers and service providers.
The fund affirms the Libraries’ commitment to fostering interesting, innovative and effective approaches to open access. It also supports our strategic objective to empower our research community to navigate the complex open access landscape in financially sustainable and simple way.
What support is available?
We support publishing initiatives and infrastructures, collective funding programs and networks in open scholarship.
The OASF is for services not already covered by other Libraries funds and would not, for example, be used for the direct payment of article or book processing charges (APCs and BPCs).
