Jennifer Povey (she/her)

Profile

I have been working at the University since 2013, where my first project was to consolidate the records of the University’s Central Record Office with the University Archive. Since then, I’ve been involved in a wide range of work, including cataloguing and collections development, integrating the University’s coin collection into the Cultural Collections, developing the University Archive, coordinating our archive accreditation submissions, managing stock moves and location audits, developing and writing policies and procedures, designing internships and placements, and supporting initiatives around inclusive cataloguing.

Most recently, I became joint lead of our Collections Information and Development Team and have been closely involved in the Library’s Digital Library and Infrastructure Project.

I am a registered member of the Archives and Records Association and act as a mentor and assessor for its CPD scheme.
